PR 5 But No indexing

I have seen a number of sites having good PR 5 or more but when looking for the pages in google it says. No page found in site search. What cud be the reason. Earlier it was indexed properly

i am having a pr5 site my site there in www2 and www3 at positoin 35 for a very competetive keyword but i am not seeing it on www can any one help me thanks

Site Shows PR6 + Backlinks but is not included in G's index.. Not sure whats up?.

Are these new sites? Sandboxed sites can have great PR and virtually no presence in the index for...nobody knows how long.

no my site is one year old and i add content to my site regularly also and i get dailybot everyday but i don't my site in results

You have obivously tripped a fliter. Review Google's TOC, make the necessary changes, and request for a reinclusion.

The toolbar-PR/Backlinks update runs on a very different schedule than the serps. One would expect that if the sites have truly been booted, (because they got caught/penalized in an algo change), when the next PR update happens they will show PR0. Who knows what you'll see for the backlinks... the backlinks had a nervous breakdown a few weeks ago.

Today I find a front page PR8 website in subdomain.domain.com. Most of the webpages are PR8 or PR9. Very strange, almost all of the pages have:

--no backlinks (link from)
--no cache page in google (cache: [sub.domain.com...]
--contents in the page can't be searched

It gives me a feeling that the website/webpages are not indexed by google. How do the PR9 come from?

This phenominan can be observed with the sites whicha were once penalized by google but have been relieved lately or with the site which have been sandboxed.
Thought such site do show some pr and decent backward links they're not yet included in the SERPS's update. These sites will stand a chance only after the next majot PR update.

My sites are also 2 year old and earlier it was indexed but now not even a single page. Backlinks are alos not there. PR5
