My web designer had our www.ourdomian.com doing a 302 redirect to www.example.com/en-us.

Everything was fine for a while in Google and they were indexing us as www.example.com and we were in the top 2-4 listings as we had been for years. Suddenly we start dropping (only in Google) to 9th, then 12th. We immediately noticed that Google was now showing www.example.com/en-us, not simply example.com. (We have 80 plus backlinks and PR5 which has not changed)

MSN and Yahoo still show us as .com only and we have maintainedc our #1 position.

Here's the question. We are having the index page moved out from the en-us directory so all visitors will come to
example.com and not be redirected to the un-us page.

What do we do with the page that google appears to have listed as our home page (www.ourdirectory.com/en-us?

Do we do a 301 redirect to the .com?

Leave it there - It's identical which is a no -no.

Delete it totally.

Thanks for any help in this matter.

Remove the original redirect.

Redirect the /en-us back to www.domain.com/

It will take a few weeks to take effect in Google listings.
