Google comes - no appearance in the index!

My site has been crawled several times by google but I have yet to find any of my new pages within the index. It's been over three weeks now since they have been created. My site has good link structure - I even placed many of the pages so that they are available from the home page.

The site is literally visited by google on a daily basis....many of my older pages are cached daily.

I just don't understand why these pages aren't making it in.....the other pages took only a week max.

The new pages are 4 weeks old and were generated using a database that I created than a perl script that I wrote to put the pages together with a template.

How are you determining if your site hasn't appeared in google?

search for something like:
-dhhdjhdfhdf site:www.yourdomain.com

to see if google has actually got any of your pages. Other than that, its just a waiting game.

Pure speculation of course, but google has gone quite quiet of late, and there are some murmurings in other threads of another pseudo-dance coming.. so this might affect things.
