What would be the value of one way PR0 links

I understand how Google would like one way links/votes the most, but do you think it will value a bunch of PR0 links from the many crummy directories out there?

As long as they're spiderable, they are well worth it for anchor text.

today a PR0. Next year a PR 5 or higher.

So better get them as soon as possible. The higher the PR the harder to get the webmaster to include your link on their page.

What you have to watch out for is that some of those crummy directories are set up to be "link magnets" and conduits of links & PR for networks of sites that can sometimes be a bit unsavory.

It depends on how crummy they are. If they're crummy with the slightest suspicion of anything not 100% above board, don't link back.

Artdog watch out for some good sites with a PR of 6+. The sites should have 10000+ pages and you can get your link added on all the pages. The prices may flutute anywhere from $50 -$200 a month(depending upon the site).If this takes you to the top of the SERPS and you feel you can manage it from the sales it's worth giving a try.

It'll work OK until Google finally realizes that those 10,000+ links all come from the same frigging website. I wish G would wake up and figure out how to nuke these irrelevant purchased backlinks already. I admit, I've had to subscribe to one of these just to keep up with the Joneses- yuck! Yeah, you are free to buy ad placement anywhere, so technically it's not Spam, but technicalities aside, it's...Spam--pure Spam, in intent and in effect. Your tiny hyperlink text at the bottom of some 10,000-page site is not an ad, don't delude yourself. Any way you slice it, it's just a massive backlink bomb.

Luckychucky, that's already happened. They seem to be a lot better at recognizing and dampening multiple links from one domain.
