PR increased but traffic still same

I have seen that internal pages of my website are all having a Pr 3 or Pr 4 from the earlier PR 0,

this has been there for last one week, but my traffic is still the same

so we should now conclude that Pr is not a good factor for traffic?

And i can tell you that the site is in competitive industry with keywords fetching around 10 k searches per day, the other sites are having good ranking, but i am sure that with pr of 4 or 3, my traffic should have shown atleast a 20 % increase, while i was expecting a growth of around 100 % with such a great Pr rise for around 400 pages of my website

yes i am talking of Pr increase of 400 plus pages
