Google Directory and pagerank question

does pagerank update seperately to new entries in the Google directory?

OK this is a strange one. I have a pagerank of 4 on my site, but in the Google directory I'm listed near the bottom of the page with no page rank :(

I waited patiently for months, thinking that my page rank will finally reflect in the directory when it updates.

It updated with fresh entries about a week ago but there my site is, still with no pagerank in the directory, although my pagerank is 4.

Is pagerank updated seperately to entries in the Google directory?

Has anyone else experienced this? I'm really disappointed that my site hasn't "climbed" up the directory list :\

Yes and commonly can take 3-6 months.
