Is it a good idea to do link exchanges between your homepage and somebody else's if you both have the same Page Rank?
Or is it better to keep outbound links deeper in your site (links page) and have more external incoming links to your main page?
I'm assuming here that both websites have the same theme.

It's a good idea long as they send you the same traffic back and remember don't think about PR, think traffic!

exactly, in that situation, u want to think traffic. i dont think google, will put much consideration on distributing PR because ur linking from one, right back to the other, seeing PR is the same, u need to be thinking traffic
