HIgh PR sites not filtered?

can you escape the filter by increasing PR?

I've heard a few people mention that the rules are different for high PR sites (PR 6 and above). ie they don't get filtered for over-optimization, or are less likely to be filtered.

Can anyone confirm this? Or has anyone seen evidence to the contrary?

Hmmm, not true

Even your site has a pr6, you will still receive a penalty if you do not play by the rules.
Some sites can get small penalties but still appear high in the serps because of good linking structure, high PR and many other off page factors.

Even PR 8 has filters like OOP, slow death or sandbox. Rumors, nothing true imho.
