Pages Are Listed When the Keywords Are Not in the Page

Difficult to understand search criteria.

If you search on google (maybe .it) the word: "<widget>" you find a page (now removed, but still available on cache) in which the word does not exist.

No backlinks appear existing.

Can anyone give some hints on that strange behaviour?

One of the things that made Google special is its use of anchor text to infer the subject matter of a page.

This is explained in sections 2.2 and 5 from The Anatomy of a Search Engine [www-db.stanford.edu], written by Google founders Lawrence Page and Sergey Brin.

There's a PageRank threshold for inclusion in the link: search, even though lower PR links do count. Also, it can be a while before backlinks show; they help sites get listed in Google much quicker though.
