Site Navigation Bar safe in Flash?

Will G pass PR across site as with CSS?

In view of G's recent changes irt Flash, is it now 'safe' to implement a navigation bar designed in flash? (using embedded objects)

ie: Really want to know whether G will pass the site's internal PR to all pages as with CSS coded navigation bars.

Thanks
Calum

I can't prove this, but based on my experience I believe using buttons placed directly on the main timeline is "safe" in PR terms between one web page and another. I wouldn't feel the same way about buttons in movieclips, unless I proved it myself.

Sorry I can't be more definitive. As it happens, I place my Flash navigation bars in an external JavaScript file which detects the player and document-writes alternative non-Flash content when needed - which might be a simple html version of the navigation bar. Then in noscript tags I place that same simple html version of the navigation bar. This, I believe, is 100% safe.

Use absolue links in getURL when implementing Flash movies as navigation bar.
