When you try some query like adsense.google.com you've got nothing. Not even a redirect to the AdSense program. But when you try mp3.google.com, chat.google.com or my.google.com you've got a subdomain create! Here a list of a few of the subdomain I've found :

I believe it is possible to create those entries by linking to a page that doesnt exist. eg. yourmom.google.com

I'm not too surprised. Google needs to become a portal in order to compete with yahoo. I do think it's interesting that most of these google subdomains have to do with search and aggregating information such as phonebook, travel, weather, and webquotes. Yahoo has gone beyond this by offering subscription and shopping related services such as auctions, dating, financing, and autos.

in order to become a portal google will have to lose it minimalistic look which it has become famous for. The average yahoo msn lycos portals are just a mess they throw tones of the latest content at you hoping that some of it will interest you.

I've been nagging for a MyGoogle here for about 3 years - I'd love it if there were some personalization. They sure could portalize but done differently from the others.

i can't believe it. "grias di" is austrian and southern german dialect for the german "grüss dich", which means "i great you" or simply hello. no doubt some austrians or bavarians working at google ;-)
