The category used to be
shopping > widgets > blue
Now they've removed most of the sites from the 'blue' category (including mine) and have added more sub categories.
shopping > widgets > blue > small
shopping > widgets > blue > medium
Etc.
I'm guessing this is the reason why - because so many of those incoming links are from sites that use dmoz data on their sites.
What I'd like to know is
1) Do you think this is what's happened?
2) If so, any idea how long it will take Google to 'catch up'?
Thanks.

Google doesn't update their directory too often, at least in the past. I've waited three to six months for an update on some sites.
However, last month I receieved an unsolicited inclusion into dmoz, was included into Google directory in two weeks, and it was subsequently reflected on the toolbar in around three weeks (darn, that was weird).
My opinion is that it's variable because the directory seems to be updated in pieces.
Anybody else care to share an opinion?
