1st Document Ever Indexed By Google?

So who knows the answer to this question.

I don't think Stanford does much linking out. Starting with DMOZ would be the way to go.

However, they probably tried it on some local page first.

If the guys had any sense of history, they would have indexed [info.cern.ch...] first as a tribute to Tim Berners-Lee. But I don't know if it was still online when Google first started indexing.

I bet its the index page of google.com (or whatever it was called before, probably http:/google.stanford.edu)
