Different search results and home and in the office

When I search my keyword in Google I get different results depending on whether I am at home or the office.

First of all I thought that Google must have updated in the time i had travelled home, but when I checked the next morning in the office it hadn't. I have been checking everyday for the last 5 days and the the results are the same when I check from the office and the same when I check at home but they both give me different results.

Is that normal?

You are probably hitting a different data centre. Each data centre can be in a different state of continual update.

Does your office have a domain name like mycompany.com?

It would be smart that if the domain doing the searching is a known business, to make sure you don't serve up non-business results. At least that woould make a lot of managers happy.
