Ok, I have 2 sites on different servers that are related: Site A and Site B...
I was linking Site A to Site B (probably over-linking). My traffic on Site B decreased to about 20% of what is was after the update on March 14th. Then I quickly removed all the links on Site A (no-longer links to Site B). Over the past month I have been checking the backlinks on Site B and noticed fluctuating. (Sometimes the links from Site A still appear even though they are no-longer exist).
I think that these links are the reason why the traffic on Site B has suffered so much. I think that when Google stops reading these links I’ll be all good.
Can anyone guess when these links will be removed from Google permanently? Am I on the right track?
