How long does it take for a new site to get some PR?

On average, how long does it take? Assuming there are already 50 sites linking to mine with pr4+, it is only about a month old though. Also, all my pages have been crawled by google, when I type the targetted keywords, my site shows up somewhere in the 400's results. Is this normal? I think that it's still too early, and as I build more links and the google finds them it will eventually climb its way up. Any thoughts/comments appreciated ;)

Google update PR on a fairly irregular basis, but usually at least every couple of months.

It's been said here a million times don't worry to much about PR, there are many other factors that go into making your site rank well.

It sounds like what you're asking is when your pages will start ranking for your keywords in the google search results. (Lately, pages seem to get PR before they start ranking, from my experience.)

From what others have been saying, it's been taking 2-3 months for new sites to get spidered and pages to start ranking.

I've been waiting a good 2 months now for my site to get spidered. :( Hopefully soon.
