PR0 or Temporary Affectation?

Fairly new site dropped from index but still being crawled

A site put up fairly recently (less than 4 months) had been fully crawled and indexed by Google, and assigned a PR of 4.

Several days ago it dropped completely from the index, and Google toolbar displays PR of 0, but..... Googlebot is still deep-crawling the site on a daily basis.

Is the continued deep-crawl a sign that the PR0 and drop from index are a temporary 'Google Thang'?

There's been some weirdness with the toolbar lately. If your PR is dependent on one or three websites, then that may be the reason.

Three months on you should see some stability. If the case is not the above, then you may have a problem.
