Is Google adding News-Results to the SERPS?

Some strange results in my SERPS.

Does anyone know if Google is adding some news-results to the normal SERPS?
On the results-pages there are 2 news articles, which are semi-related to the search term but are there since 2 weeks, which means that they are pretty old.
Has anyone seen that in his serps?

Yep.

I was away from the internet for a few weeks, and when I came back, there was a whole new, rather spammy-looking, Google. That's what I get for taking my eyes off the thing, (the anthropic theory of SE's... the observer is critically important).

It's still not as bad as Bill, so what the hec... you get what you get.
