In competitive areas, where sites competing are say a million, google still returns rapid results. I assume it does a quick and dirty to get to 1000 (max results displayed) and then prioritises amongst these 1000 according to it's full algorithm.
Is this correct? Any insight as to what the initial criteria is? Is it as simple as PR, or is it keyword and PR only appears in full algorithm?
