Do identical links water down my PR-passing power?

After reading all the New-PR-Posts I realized one of my home pages was promoted to 6 - but most inner pages stayed at 4.

On this home page there are a couple of thumbnail-links and text links. I did this so the user reaches his favourite product no matter if he clicks the picture or the text link. Now I'm wondering if those extra 12 links dilute the PR-passing power of my homepage. Any idea?
