A few months back my web host had a hard drive crash and I lost my entire gallery. It took me a while to get it back online, but now that it is my newly spidered web site is mainly getting referalls from Google (circa 40 per day) for 'Supplemental Results'. i.e. links to images that no longer exist.

Is there any way to get rid of these things (do I have to use the url remover for every one? is that even possible? there's over a hundred)? Google has been spidering my website a little bit every day downloading new pictures, so kudos to them for that.

Also, what is the average life span of a 'supplemental result'?

I'd also like to note (sadly) that Yahoo is delivering just as many referrers and none of them to pages that 404. MSN has only delivered 2 to date.
