Why do I rank higher?

I've been noticing that nearly all my key phrases rank much higher on google.ca than google.com - I'm searching 'all the web', not just Canadian results.

This has been the case since the pages first appeared in the google index almost 3 months ago.

Is it just me?

What possible reason is there for this?

Naturally, I'm hoping that I will eventually see these better results on google.com!
