Google News Now Has Images

Just noticed this morning that the G. News now has image thumbs. Not sure what the criteria is for their inclusion or exclusion but there they are.

Unless i am missing something, image thumbs have pretty much always been there.

Not that I've seen and I've been sifting through several dozen pages of news every day for the past 9 months. Not once have I seen an image in the listings. And then today - every page has at least a few on it.

i was thinking you were talking about the News homepage. Yeah, thumbnails on news search is new and i see tons of pics of my fav racer.

I feel like I'm running around like a chicken with my head cut off, confirming all the fun things which went out last night. :) Yup, news results can show thumbnail photos in the news search results now.

Has anybody pointed WebmasterWorld to the full Google press release yet? I haven't seen a thread about (for example) our new number range advanced search yet.
