Supplemental Results

and a reductional in overall indexed pages

Apologies if this has been covered already but the site search in the header didnt return any results for 'Supplemental Results'

Anyway I have 2 major domains for my site, for e.g
widgets1.com
widgets2.com

Search for site:www.widgets2.com returns about 14k results

site:www.widgets1.com (my primary domain) now returns just over 5k results with the first being a topic, all the other results appear to be supplemental results

A few months back the above search would return about 40k+ results, so there has been a huge reduction and now the 'supplemental' results.

This seems quite odd, under searching for 'primary keyword' on google I am still #1 with the front page of the site having a page rank of 7

Late 2003 my site had its biggest months ever, with google helping this a lot, bringing 1000+ referred sessions per day but in the recent updates my main domain seems to have had its overall indexed pages reduced a lot

Seems to have gone for site:www.widgets1.com from:

40k results->300 results->5k results (everything after 1st being supplemental)

Im not sure what sort of impact this is having except in my stats I am getting more referred sessions from yahoo than google and this has never happened previously, google has always been 'the daddy' :)

If anyone can give me more detail about this, whether it is a bad thing, should I be worried, is there anything I can do etc. etc.
