Hi All,

Has anyone noticed that Google began to index URLs with the id parameter? It also seems to include URLs with three parameters in its index now.

The max 3 parameter suggestion was made several times. Sites with parameters called "id" were indexed in the past as well, imho.

A page like h*tp://www.domain.com/page.php?cid=326&offset=2 is showing as back link to one of my sites.
The pagerank of the page, shown by the toolbar, is zero.

The advice from Googleguy has been to stay away from the id= parameter IF if looks like a session id.

Short numbers probably don't look like a session id. Long random strings probably do.
