I've seen two results one under the other, with one indented, sure... but I've never seen two pages from the same domain at different positions in the SERP. I've also seen a page from example.com and a page from www.example.com, but that isn't the case here, the domain is exactly the same.
It happens in inktomi a lot, but I've never seen it on google before...
If you add &num=100 to the end of the search URL, such that you get 100 entries per page, you'll see lots of dual listings.
If you then add &filter=0 to the search URL, you'll see loads of indented listings, sometimes dozens for the same site.
Normal behaviour for at least the last year or two.
Google does see that they are from the same site. If there are more than 2 relevant pages for the search query there will be a link [More results from www.domain.com] under the second listing as Google supposedly defaults to only listing 2 pages from a domain when performing a regular search.
