About 10 days ago google dropped all of my pages from its SERP's. I made some changes and they are slowly coming back. I have found a little quirk. My stat system shows which keywords were used to find my site, and also upon clicking them, I'm taken to the exact page where it was found in the SE's. I have noticed lately that occasioally, upon following the link, that my page is not there, nor on any of the following 10 pages (that's as far back as I bother looking). Now I know it was there, in some cases within hours of me checking. Then POOF! I've seen it happen with 4 keywords so far in the last three days. Are they really updating that fast? And why the change of heart about the results? As an aside, it will be a new keyword result for me, which is why I check it's placement. So it was there very briefly as well. It's almost like they're testing it out (the page in the results) and somehow it fails and is knocked off. I guess you could argue a better page came along and bumped me down, but 100 at once? No way.
