Expect more Service from Google

I am trying to see if we got a penalty from Google as we lots all our backlinks in the latest PR update. I went through my google rep who sent a message to the techs who gave me a canned response.

I find it extremely frustrating as a reasonable customer who spends about $10k on adwords a month to get a response like that.

Even though this is a SERPS question I think as a good adwords customer I should be at the front of the queue when it comes to the sort of issue. At the end of the day I am not asking for a site review just for them to verify if I got a penalty or not.
