What I've seen to date suggests that the google.ca listing requires some evidence of "Canadian content" - i.e., either a .ca domain name extension OR a Canadian host.
My question now is would a .com site on a US server make it to google.ca if it contained contact information (on page content) with a Canadian address and phone number?
(substitute .com.uk for .ca as required)
Is not a TLD! It is a sub-domain of uk.com - so is treated as a .com if not hosted in the UK.
