hi,
I just got permission to use few pages of content from another site. I shall be giving that site that a courtesy link & mention below every article I use. Is this in any way harmful for either of our sites.? Can some one guide me? Thanks in advance.

If the pages are completely identical, one or the other could be seen as duplicate content and disappear.

It's safest if you use the text of the article but put it in a different format, (.htm template), and add some text somewhere on the page that is different. I've allowed others to use articles of mine that way, with both doing well in the serps afterwards.
