Too Many Homepage Links

Inbound links--ideal number?

So i have a rental company that represents 20 destinations. Since the lastest update brandy, it has been my home page that has dominated all destinations and not my subdomains or additional pages with relevant yet keyword specific information. However, in order to centralize things for the user, we display information links like destination"X" <"keyword phrase">, and "destinations"X" <keyword>, ETC all on the homepage--

The result is that I have over 100 anchor links on the home page--or perhaps I am using the term wrong..Because we have a content management system, this portion of the page is carried onto all our destination pages which are not doing as well?

Can anyone tell me what this means? I am more than happy to have my homepage show up in 17-20 destination for the most applicable/conversion phrases, but because I am a perfectionist, I am concerned about my destination subdomains that are not fairing as well?
