Google newsbot's strange behavior

I run a local online newspaper. I subscribed to be included in google news service as soon as it became available in italy.

Since then an horde of google crawler visit my site every day, always scanning the same pages (those containing just the titles and a few lines) but very seldom scanning those where the articles are printed in whole.

I've written to [e-mail] and I only had polite but useless answers, regarding how they'd love to include my site but something seems to work bad.

Any clue from anyone?
Anyone have the same problems?
