Say you have 10 categories and each has 3-7 subcategories, and each sucategory has some subcategories of its own...will googlebot look at all of these?

I have seen some of the items we sell listed on froogle, so my guess would be yes. However when I do a search on Google for any of these items I, for most of them I do not see our site listed.

It depends on the PR of the pages and how long you wait... A site of a few hundred pages with a homepage PR of 5-6 may take 2 to 3 months to get completely spidered.

Linking structure is also very important. Build a human-friendly sitemap and get good, relevant backlinks and it's mostly faster.

I have over 12,000 pages in 12 categories, each having 3 to 40 subcategories and they in turn have 2 to 15 subsubs. This goes 3 to 4 directories deep and all can be found one way or another on G. All of this starts with the 12 links on the index.html

If G can follow the links, it will. Googlebot has been on the site continuosly for over two days and counting.

A sitemap can't do any harm
