Hello to the whole community.

I've been hearing that dynamically created javascript links do not give out pageRank. If that is true, what's the specific reason?

Anyway, I'm glad this place is still around. I was out of the whole "Web thing" for a little while and I'm glad to see that now that I'm back into it, this place is still around. It brings a smile to my face :) and a joyful tear out of my right eye! But really, it's good to be back here reading all the insightful information that the webmasterworld community has to offer.

Thanks

Ah looks like I found a link to the answers I'm looking for. For anyone else curious about the matter, here's the link.

But if anyone has something on there mind pertaining to the subject at hand by all means, let's hear it.

Thanks

Hello circuitjump

I guess the simplest explanation is that PageRank only flows where Google identifies links; as Google doesn't parse Javascript it doesn't see the links.

If you have a full URI in the Javascript source (eg. [whatever...] ) then Google may well fetch that URL, but as far as I know it doesn't count as a backlink for the destiniation so there's no PR flow.
