Is there a free service that'll analyze your site?

To see how a search engine crawler will rank it?

What do you mean?

You want to see how your page looks when crawled by Google?

Or how high your page will rank in Google?

Karl :)

I would like to find out how googles crawler is rating my site. I am planning on making some changes in the near future to hopefully allow it to rank better, but I was hoping to find a way that I can see how it currently ranks.

All the crawler does is fetch the pages to include in the index. The way to tell how the site is currently ranking is to do a search at Google for your keywords and keyword phrases and see where your pages come up for those searches.

If you mean is there a service that will look at the pages on the site to evaluate whether they're optimized well for high placement and tell how to improve it if necessary, that's a different story. That's a consultation. If the site needs work to improve rankings you can get that told for free, but as far as analyzing what needs to be done and telling you what to do, that's SEO work and it's highly unlikely you can get that for free.

Checking rankings you can do yourself once the pages are in the index.
