Difference between link:www.example.com and link: www.example.com?

Hi,
what difference between checking backlinks on google writing 'link:www.example.com' without spaces or writing 'link: www.example.com' with a space between the command and the address? The nmver of backlinks is very different. Anyone could explain it?

Interesting.

For me. with "link:www.mydomain.com" gives me backward links that are pr4 and more. "link: www.mydomain.com" gives me backward links that are less than pr4.

Ok, i've understood. But I can't understand another thing why with the link: www.mydomain.com command i can see a lot of backlinks to my sites that i can't find with link:www.mydomain.com?

Ahh...it is now clear. The answer is because the real

link:www.domain.com command is only a representative sample. This has been confirmed and discussed many times.

Thus, you are able to find certain ones not listed in the real link: operator with the "link: www.domain.com" query.
