I just used descriptive file names for my images (product shots) and the crawl seemed to have happened automatically. As in the other thread though... I have not seen the image bot in my logs for quite awhile.

p.s.

I have found numerous hot links from other sites to my images. I ended up putting our domain name at the bottom of each image. Kind of like a watermark. All these images that were hot linked were found through google, so if someone was looking for a type of widget, they would find my image of it, and hot link it. At first I was ticked. Then decided to add our domain.

What a hoot, most of these sites still show the images with our domain name on them. Free advertising I guess...
