Google Cached Page PR Difference

Hi
I have noticed that when looking at my recently spidered pages that Google's cached page has a completely different PR to that when just viewing the page normally (i.e. PR1 when viewed via link, PR4 cached).
Does this indicate that this is the PR to come when Google updates?

Have searched the archives but could not find a reference to this.

Hi phantombookman,

i don't know, if i understood your problem correctly, but doesn't the url point to google, if you watch the cached page. you know, this stuff "This is Google's cache...". the url should point to an IP or URL from google.

so the toolbar requests the PR for the URL from google instead the PR for your page.

hope this helps

Hi Barn
thanks for the reply, what I found unusual was that :
when you perform a search and see the result for your site when you click on the it you obviously go to your own URL with appropriate PR.
When you click on Googles cached link the PR indicator is usually grey.

However I have noticed that for 1 or 2 days some of my pages that are either new or have been ammended show a PR figure significally different to the existing one.
After a couple of days this then turns grey.

Not so much a problem as a point of interest and why I wondered whether that was a prediction of PR to come?

Or am I simply just seeing glitches and anomolies in my Google toolbar
