I have 2 main websites on servers in the U.S. and 5 miniwebsites on servers in Eastern Europe.
A large amount of my keywords that were listed on Google.com no longer are showing up, but they all show up on the first page of [google.lv...]
Does google know where the server is and take this into consideration which google they will list my rank terms.
Do I need to have all my mini websites all on my server in the UNITED STATES if I want my keywords to rank on Google.Com.
All the mini websites are linked to my two main websites in the U.S. but are, but they are on the Lavtia Website.
Or does where the server have nothing to do with this.
So again, 2 main websites are on U.S. servers, 5 mini websites are on Lavtia Websites but linked to the U.S websites within the hyper links on the website. So from homepage of mini website on Lavtia server-when you click on product it brings you to main website located on server in U.S.
I am located in U.S. but have programmers in Eastern Europe.
Lastly, the servers in the UNITED STATES is not my own, but i host my websites through webhosting company "monster.com" who is based in the U.S.
Please help me understand this.
Thanks

thanks for responding:
The way we have it set up where the main websites (2) are in U.S. but all the homepages (standalone) domain names(these are hosted in Lavtia), once you click on a product it brings you back into main website in U.S.
We are getting great rankings in Latvia-even those main websites (actually where you can order from) are in the U.S.
How does Google decide where to list you?
Should I only have domain names hosted in U.S. if i only want to sell in the U.S.?
Any feedback would be great.
thanks alot,
Sebyte
Thanks for your replies. So you are saying the spiders can see where the server is located and decides which google to list website on depending on where the server is?
Also, I am buying my own server - and will be listing all my websites on it - will I get penalized for that? Or are you saying I actually need to buy a bunch of servers too?
Thanks

If you have heavy crosslinks between different domains you run a risk full stop. If it si lots of sites pointing at one and that site not returning the links you should be ok.
In terms of Google knowing the location of the servers the answer from what I have read is yes and will therefore give you a boost in that geographic area. this doesn't mean however that you won't show up in google.com.
I would definately recommend that if you are selling to the US you host in the US.
Do you have a contact us page with a US address?
Try to get entries in as many directories that are US dedicated, including a regional entry in DMOZ
