Hi all,

What is google/ie and how does it get the data( I mean from which datacenter).

My site is showing #73 in google.com but not showing anywhere in google/ie. What might be the reason? Earlied both the lsiting use to be same.Which one is the latest google.com listing or google.com/ie?

Thanks
Aji

Google.com/ie is designed to be displayed in the left hand 'search pane' of internet explorer, if you set Google to be the default search engine within IE (see here [google.com] for instructions). However it's become popular with webmasters who are checking the positions of a particular site and so don't need to see anything but a bare-bones interface.

It seems very likely that the results from google.com/ie are retrieved in exactly the same way as the main results - you can hit any of the data centers that are available at any given time, depending on server load etc.
