Question about multiple domains pointing to the same site

Is there a way to have google only list one?

I've planned a web site launch for a while - before I started visiting these forums.

We registered several misspellings of our web site domain name so that people would end up in the same place and not at one of those parking pages full of ads if we ever hit the big time.

Now I see that that practice is frowned on by google.

On the one hand, if we don't promote the aliases, then google should never find out about them. On the other, all it takes is one misspelled inbound link to make us look like spammers.

Is there a way to deal with this? Maybe a permanent redirect?

I would suggest a 301 redirect. Google understands it and PR should be transferred.
