Which is the best method: a link from a high pr page or from a themed page?

Hello.
I am trying to figure out which is the best linking method.

I have a site about keywordA and i want to link to another site which is about keywordB.

Which method do you think could give a better result?

1. A link from the homepage with pr=7

2. Create a page about keywordB and link to that site.

Thanks
Panos

Panos, do you mean you will have some content about keywordB and then put it on the keywordA website and then link to keywordB page from the keywordA domain?

A link from any page that has PR=7 is wonderful

Yes nakulgoyal that is what i mean.
I know that a link from a pr7 is very important but i was wondering if the boost of the second method is bigger.

I'm not sure if this question could be posted here but here it is anyhow. I have noticed that my competitors that rank the highest seem to have alot of links within all of their pages. They are listing links on the sides of all of their pages to all of the other pages. So they have basically 50-60 internal links per page.

They are listing very very high for all keywords.

Is it best to have links on their pages OR have a site map with the map's url on all the pages?

Could someone please explain the pros and cons.

One of our competitors has ads from Overture and some of these have been interpreted as backlinks by Google(when seen in cached pages). Their internal pages have PR4+ and the internal pages point to their homepage, all these links are counted as backlinks. Even they figure out prominently for many major KWs.
