I have a number of javascript files in my website. I keep them in relevant directories rather than a common directory.

Having read the robots.txt standard, it seems to me that I cannot disallow all *.jscr files irrespective of location. I would have to disallow each file individually.

Does anyone have a suggestion or is my interpretation of robots.txt wrong? I would also like to disallow, .zip, .exe and .ini files.
Google indexes some .ini files and other robots seem to target my .zip and .exe files.

Kaled.

PS I get several hits a day from Google on one javascript file. No other search engines seem to index them.

Put 'em in seperate directory and then use a robots.txt [webmasterworld.com] to block them.
