I'm finding half of the DCs down, searches timing out after 60 seconds.

Is the current state of the DCs part of the normal cycle?

Best wishes

I have to admit that I don't really pay much attention to allinanchor: these days..

Is GG offering a hint to SEOs here?

Yes, he means to say that allinanchor: has a lot to do with the serps.

As much as I can see, Google and AOL have different serps. In addition, the serps at AOL are very much in line with the allinanchor: results at Google. So the dance is actually going on at AOL.

While allinanchor *may* serve a purpose, it astound me why so many here check all the DC's every five minutes?

Hi,

I just did a search for allinanchor:widget financial and I see the pre Florida SERPs with my site back at #2 but there are only 1340 results. The cached pages are from a couple of days ago (20th).

Best wishes

allinanchor/serps are a little off-topic for this thread. I just wanted to let people know that the data centers are still there (no worries); it's just that the dns aliases are going away for a while, other than www2/www3.
