Commas in queries behave different in words and numbers

Clever behavior

Maybe this is old news, but it's something I haven't noticed before:

A search for "go,ogle" is equivalent to a search for "go ogle", but a search for "194,068" returns results that include "194068" and "194,068".

Similarly a search for "194,068" returns results that include "194068".

numbers can interpreted with or without commas .. for e.g. 1,000 and 1000 are same .. but commas between words imply them to be seperate from each other.

That seems to me to be relatively new, as I definitely remember that, a year or so ago, I found that commas in numbers did matter (I have a keyword that is a four digit number).

Just checked and can confirm that they no longer make a difference.

The same thing seems to happen with '-' now. Try searching for 'a-b' and the top result highlights 'AB', but it still matches 'A-B' also.
