omitted or not?

When I make a search for "widgets IN mycountry" and for "widgets mycountry", then I see very different results.
Without "IN" I'm at position #5, but when using the "IN", my site appears at #17.

How can I handle this? Google claims that very common words are not included in the search, but it seems to be misleading. I'm afraid my customers prefer to use this search phrase with "IN". How do I optimize my pages then?

The word itself is ignored, but the other two words are further apart if there's a stopword in between.

So "widgets IN mycountry", "widgets AT mycountry", "widgets OF mycountry", etc. are equivalent.

If people are most likely yo use "in", then it's probably a good idea to use the "in" in your page.
