My homepage is focused on only two keyowrd phrases.
My page rank is now 5 out of 10. However if you do a search on Google for these two terms my homepage is not shown anywhere. Not even on the first 10 pages. Why?
But some of the sites that dont have the keywords in the title or have a high page rank are shown?
My suggestions are this but I could be VERY Wrong.
1. Is it possible I am being penalised because I have two domians that point to the same pages and its classed as duplicate content.
2. Is it because some of the links by other sites pointing to my site have alt tags with different keywords and not the two keywords i have focused on my main page!
I hope I am wrong but I have been trying to get my head round this for days and cannot get any answers.
Please Help! My business is counting on it!

Yes.
You need the two-word phrase in the anchor text of a few inbound links.
Nothing to do with google not playing fair though, seems very fair to me. If no-one links to your site with that phrase in the anchor text, then why would google index it under that phrase.......?

That could be a whole separate problem.
alt tags with different keywords
Alt tags or anchor text? If it's alt tags on image links, then I can't see that hurting.
So is this a recent change or have you just never ranked well?
Google's results are now so poor and irrelevent to the average punter that it's no longer worth using them as a search engine.
Google will reverse it's decision, not because of a few complaints but a haemoraging of business to other search engines.
True, satanclaus. I should have realized that... suggesting it was florida was just an automatic response... might have been totally irrelevant.
So, alsmith2000, like satanclaus said: is this new or has it always been like this?
I am currently in the process of doing this at the moment before you even suggested it. Possibly this is the problem.
I cant see how it can be florida for the simple reason my page rank has gone up from 4 out of 10 up to 5 out of 10 since florida.
However i am not showing up for my keywords when i search on google.
Somthing is cocked up somewhere. Its either google or my site but something needs to be fixed.
And quickly
Thanx for your help everyone!
