In all of this I know there is no substitute to providing quality useful content. First and foremost. Secondly, too make that content accessible; some level of optimization must be employed. If not, one’s site would never be visible and would therefore benefit no one. It’s obvious that the rules have changed. However, I am thinking about getting new sites going. But since I know that many of the sites using two word key-phases in the domain names separated with hyphens such as www.widgets-gidgets.com have vanished, I am reluctant to get a domain name with a keyword phrase in it.
Very few sites with two-keyword phrases in them are listed at the top. It seems like all the sites with one-word keywords www.widgetngidgets.com (no hyphens) are listed high in google rankings. Any thoughts?
