I have recently discovered that the alt tags in my website were considered as spam by google.

The 1X1 spacer gifs were stuffed with keywords, yeah oops!
anyway I removed them this morning.

I have noticed that my site has not been recached since I put those alt tags in.

How do I get my site to be visited by the spider again and let bygones be bygones ;)

can I put the url of my site here so that someone could say yay or nay about the structure?

Thanks.

Hi, Maybe you can help me too. I have a PR5 website which disappeared out of google last night, but only the home page. Every other page is indexed. Except my main url? It still shows a PR5 but no information can be found in google when searched for?

thelightman,

This topic has been discussed in past threads. Do a sight search for reinclusion or reinclusion request.

I believe that at one time Google was accepting email to webmaster@google.com. In the subject line put reinclusion and bare your soul asking for forgiveness.

Although it may be wise to first do some further research to see if your site was actually banned or just the same Florida update disaster that so many others are hit with.
