Hi,

Just trying to dig into florida update and notice something uniqe in heading.

Search for any phrase and you will find c2coff=1 in google search url.

Open a different browser and copy past the url and change the value of c2coff to 0 and see the difference in url.

(make sure that if you use ie in first case than you use netscape or any other browser in second case)

Can anyone tell what is this c2coff mean.

cheers ..

I only see it if my search is link:www.mysite.org.uk

Then I see it on all the data centres I had the patience to try!

Do you see any change in the order of the SERPS? I manually added the variable you mentioned and i saw no changes though.

sorry .. i should also have pasted url.

Yes the results are different at times but the major difference is in total no. of results google finds in both cases.

<snip>

Please make sure that either the cookies are off when you are using same browser or else use two different type of browser .. google sets cookie and show same results if just keep changing parameter in url
